His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, inaugurated the international headquarters of Sela, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, in London this evening (Monday), accompanied by HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), in the presence of Dr. Rakan Alharthy, Managing Director of Sela, and a number of the company’s senior executives.
Following the inauguration ceremony, His Royal Highness and HE toured the headquarters, where they were briefed on the company’s operations, international strategy, global expansion plans, growing partnerships, and its current and upcoming projects across the sports, entertainment, and cultural sectors.
HRH the Ambassador affirmed that the inauguration of Sela’s international headquarters in London reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing global presence and underscores the Kingdom’s remarkable progress in the sports and entertainment sectors under Saudi Vision 2030. HRH added that this initiative also highlights the strength of Saudi–British relations and the opportunities it creates to further enhance cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries. HRH concluded by wishing the company continued success in its future endeavors.
HE Turki Alalshikh said: “Today, Sela stands as a Saudi success story with the capability to compete on the global stage. Through its accumulated expertise and strategic partnerships, the company has played a key role in delivering some of the region’s largest sports and entertainment projects. The opening of this headquarters in London marks an important step in strengthening Sela’s international presence, expanding its global network, and supporting the delivery of more world-class projects in the years ahead.”
